SpectraBox is built so that we never see your data at all. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. SpectraBox has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data. The app does not need an internet connection to work and runs fully in airplane mode.
Your sessions, transcripts, and recordings are stored on your device. If iCloud is available, your data may also be stored in your personal, private iCloud database, encrypted by Apple. We have no access to it, and no sign-in is required.
SpectraBox reads your phone's magnetometer (the same sensor the compass uses) to show a live EMF-style readout. This reading is used only on your device and is never uploaded. SpectraBox does not use the microphone, the camera, your location, or your contacts.
The optional one-time SpectraBox Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We receive no payment details. Because it is a one-time purchase, there is nothing to cancel.
You can export any session as a CSV or text transcript at any time, and erase everything by deleting the app (and removing SpectraBox data from iCloud in iOS Settings).
