These terms cover your use of the SpectraBox app, published by Buckshot Digital Sales Inc. By using the app you agree to them.
SpectraBox is an entertainment product. It does not detect, measure, contact or prove the existence of ghosts, spirits or any paranormal phenomenon, and nothing it produces is evidence of paranormal activity.
The words the app speaks and displays are generated on your device by a procedural algorithm from a fixed word list, seeded by a number recorded in every export. They are not received from a radio, a broadcast, a server, or any outside source. The EMF readout is a display of your phone's real magnetometer, which responds to ordinary magnetic fields from electronics, metal, speakers and the Earth itself. Do not rely on SpectraBox for any safety, health, navigational, scientific or investigative decision.
Sessions, transcripts, recordings, photos, videos and case files you create stay on your device and belong to you. We do not receive them and cannot recover them for you. Deleting the app deletes them.
SpectraBox Pro is optional. The free features described in the app remain free. Pro is a single one-time lifetime purchase, the same on iPhone and Android, with no subscription and nothing that renews. The price is shown on the purchase screen before you buy.
All billing is handled by the app store you bought from, never by us: Apple on iPhone, through your App Store account; Google Play on Android, through your Google Play account. Because it is a one-time purchase, there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us: on iPhone, request one through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, through Google Play's Order history (Play Store > Menu > Order history) or support.google.com/googleplay. A lifetime purchase unlocks the current Pro feature set on the platform you bought it on; purchases do not transfer between an Apple ID and a Google account, because each store handles its own billing.
Do not use SpectraBox to harass, frighten, defraud or deceive anyone, to present its output as genuine evidence of the paranormal, or to break the law. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.
SpectraBox is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buckshot Digital Sales Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
We may update these terms; the current version is always posted at this address with its effective date. We may stop offering the app or any feature at any time. You may stop using SpectraBox at any time by deleting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
